Oliver L. Sandqvist

I am an Industrial PhD student in actuarial mathematics working with the University of Copenhagen and PFA Pension. My supervisors are Mogens Steffensen, Christian Furrer, Lars F. B. Henriksen, and Niklas Lindholm (previously Kristian Buchardt).

The project is concerned with developing new mathematical life insurance models based on transaction time information as well as estimating the causal effect of preventive care initiatives. Special attention is given to disability insurance schemes.

My research interests include actuarial mathematics, probability theory, statistics, and financial mathematics, motivated by applications in life insurance.

I have a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in actuarial mathematics, both from the University of Copenhagen.
